CourseWork Marks for May 2009 Exam

Here are your Coursework Marks for the following subjects:

Several things to note:
For IT102/CS1201:

  1. The green column is your final Coursework Marks. The (/50) simply means that your Coursework accounts for 50% of your subject grade total.
  2. To pass your Coursework component, you need to have 17.5 marks or higher in the CW column (shaded green).
  3. The marks here are unofficial. Official marks/grades are only released by the Exam Unit.

For IT109 and IT205:

  1. The green column is your final Coursework Marks. The (/40) simply means that your Coursework accounts for 40% of your subject grade total.
  2. To pass your Coursework component, you need to have 14 marks or higher in the CW column (shaded green).
  3. The marks here are unofficial. Official marks/grades are only released by the Exam Unit.

Pointers for IT205 May 2009 Final Exam

The final exam paper will consist of 2 sections - Section A containing all objective questions and Section B with essay questions.

Topics to focus on for revision (based on the textbook Data Communications and Networking 4th Edition by Behrouz A. Forouzan):

Section A
- to focus on Chapters 1, 9, 12-16, 19, 22 and 32.

Section B
- to focus on Sections 1.2, 9.1, 12.1, 12.3, 13.3, 15.1, 16.1, 16.2, 19.1, 19.2

Pointers for IT206 May 2009 Final Exam

Section A
- to focus on Chapters 1 - 3, 6-9, 11, 16.

Section B
- to focus on Sections 1.1, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 3.1, 3.2, 3.4, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 9.2, 11.2, 16.1, 16.3
